Here Are Some Ideas For Your Raw Kitchen Ingredients….
Below is a list of basically what I keep in my Raw Kitchen. Of course it changes with the seasons, and you will find your own preferences.
The Raw Kitchen’s cupboard ingredients include nuts and seeds, dried fruit, herbs and spices, raw natural mineral salt (Himalayan or Malvern Rock) and organic unpasteurized soy sauce (Bio Shoyu/Tamari or Braggs). Then of course a ton of organic life giving fruit and vegetables!
Keep the best oils that you can afford – cold pressed extra virgin Olive oil, Coconut oil, Hemp seed and Flax oil. My personal favourite is coconut oil.
Sun-dried tomatoes and olives are always handy to keep in, you may find you use sun-dried tomatoes often! I dry my own.
Pulses and seeds for sprouting are essential – I like to keep sunflower seeds, chickpeas, mung beans and alfalfa for adding to salads and Raw soups, full of wonderful enzymes!
For treats from the ‘Raw kitchen’ – dried fruits, Raw Cacao powder and Cacao butter, Agave syrup (this is not raw) or organic honey and Stevia for natural sweetening.
And maybe a small selection of superfoods such as bee pollen, green superfood powder, and Maca………….
