Raw Food Juice To Kill The Headache!

With our busy stressful lives today, it is no wonder that many of us suffer from tension headaches. Now of course the cause of the tension in the first place needs to be addressed, remember… stress depletes us on many levels and needs to be dealt with.
How Can Raw Food help?
Raw Food Can Help That Niggly Headache!
The most likely cause of the common tension headache is contraction and tightness of the muscles that cover the skull which in turn causes spasm and pain, so we can easily see that stress will do this for us! Our diet can play a big part in balancing our stress levels and help us hugely to be able to deal with the load that we have – If we really cannot reduce that load!!
It is said that a diet too high in sodium will give us the headaches – sodium and magnesium need to be in a balanced ratio within the blood and many of us have a way too much sodium in our diet. Headaches are only the beginning of our problems if we keep on with the heavy salty foods! Bring on the raw food!
Celery has been used for centuries in Chinese medicine and has been proven to lower blood pressure by as much as 15 percent. The Phytochemicals in celery relax the muscles of the artery walls and so allow easier blood flow and decrease the levels of stress hormones, so now we have more oxygen going to the brain – relief!
The other ingredients in this juice have similar qualities. I learned many years ago that this combination was good for headaches, apart from the celery, I believe it is the balance of minerals in this raw food juice combination which eases the pain of a headache! Apart from that we have awesome vitamins, antioxidants and it alkalizes our blood!
Raw Food Juice For Headaches
Celery ( I had about 6 sticks)

2 Carrots
3 Apples ( I had only small ones)
Handful Of dark green leaves – spinach, parsley, lettuce
Good squeeze of lemon
Leave any green tops on the celery, don’t strip it down, it is apparently the stringy bit’s that we need!
Pack the soft leaves between the apple and carrot and juice away. Don’t forget to drink lot’s of good quality water too!
I chose this raw food juice this morning because Steve had a headache, he hate’s celery so I felt like the wicked nurse
but hey he has no headache now
Personally I love our raw food friend celery and love the flavor of this combination, but then I love my raw food green juice.
If you suffer with headaches regularly, it could be a number of things and may be easily remedied, please get it checked, it may just be a food that your body just doesn’t like, some people are allergic to just one thing, if this raw food juice doesn’t help, then it may be more serious ~ PLEASE check!
