Hello to all you Raw Food junkies, and welcome to the second instalment of granddads garden. I hope you all enjoyed the first instalment on container planting, and as promised today I shall be covering how to make your own organic compost for your raw food garden.
Firstly as with all gardening, what we plant takes up nutrients from the ground, regardless of the size of plot, including containers. So the law of Mother Nature, states that we have to replenish these, after all we cannot keep taking, without providing something in return.
As I explained in the first instalment, my own granddad, used his own unique type of fertilizer, which those of you who don’t know, or forgot, (how could you forget?) it was human sewage!  Again, I am not saying you have to follow in his footsteps.
